Julie Banning PT, DPT, PRC
Julie brings an extensive background to Atlas Physical Therapy. Graduating from Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science in 2007 with her doctorate of physical therapy, Julie has continued to expand and develop her skills.
Clinically Julie places a strong emphasis on biomechanics of the body and considers herself a movement specialist. She loves to identify the need to balance the muscle forces across the body for optimal movement.
She has experience treating a spectrum of orthopedic injuries across the lifespan. She received her Postural Restoration Certification in 2012. She has integrative skills including visceral mobilization, dry needling, vagal nerve, craniosacral therapy, and functional tri-planar assessment.
In her free time, Julie enjoys reading, exploring new ideas and traveling near and far. Julie grew up in Wyoming but now calls Nebraska her home. Any opportunity to spend time outdoors either hiking, cycling or walking are a highlight of the day.
